Where to Ride in Southern Illinois?

I live in Jackson Co. IL (not far from Carbondale) and only know of a few places to ride (Land between the Lakes, St. Joes in MO) and some very limited trails outside of Coulterville, IL. Where is there to ride that isn't 2 hours away? And by ride I mean trails through the woods (and preferably miles of them) - motocross was fun for awhile, but I've always enjoyed the trails more.

lake of Egypt 10 miles east of Marion. $11 state sticker (once a year) and $10 a day to ride there. about 400 acres i think. Small motocross track with small jumps, nothing worth talking about, but the woods are pretty good. It is a abandoned coal mine so there is alot of man made hills, which alot of them go up then right back down the other side.

Do a search for the Illinois DNR website there is a link somewhere there to the OHV page. There is about 4 riding spots listed that are funded by the state.
