I'm just wondering which big bore kit people prefer to get? Either 225 or 240.
I will most likely send it to Eric Gorr but if you know someone else who does it let me know?
L.A. Sleeve is one of the largest companies regarding the 240 kit.
I personally love my 240 kit but I've heard others complain about vibration and loss of fuel economy.
I've not heard much about the 225 kit but I'm sure it has its drawbacks also.
I had Eric bore my 220 to a 225 after I scored my cylinder. I had him do the mo' better everywhere porting. I pretty sure 225 is as big as he goes. His kit has everything you'll need to put your bike back together. I put on a 35mm carb and rev. pipe. And new reeds at the same time. So I don't know what did what, But the bike runs great. A friend of mine who is a machinist said the work looked good. Just my bit of input. Darin
