not much on a mx bike but alot on road bikes (r6,gsxr)

I would recommend you ride a 125 and a 250 2 stroke. Determine which bike "feels" right. If you can control the power of a 250, go that route, as you may tire of the 125 over time. 250s also tend to rev a bit lower and the engines wear less than a 125 on average. 1200 pounds is about $2K US...you can really get screwed in that price range if you dont know what you are looking for...learn what to look for or take someone who does.
