I agree w/BSWIFT. Also, make sure you take someone knowledgeable with you. Honda's are great, but even a poorly maintained Honda can be a ticking time bomb. I bought my first bike all by myself. It was an '89 CR250. I didn't know what to look for, & ended up with more than a few problems- some of them I'm too embarrased to mention. But the simple ones- check the tranny oil to see if it's at least been changed recently, same for the air filter. Ask the seller questions like how often did they service those last two items, etc. Hopefully you're more savvy than I was (or at least smart enough to take someone with you who is).
