I was out riding my 1981 yz 250 when I stopped and went to start it again no kick lever it had fallen off, luckily I found it after searching for an hour, but I did not find the nut. My question is which loc-tite should I use on the nut to keep it in place?

If the bolt is strong enough(Grade 8 or better) then Red is good too. But I would put it on a weak bolt, I've broken too many bolts trying to extract them with red loc-tite on them.

The trick to removing fasteners that have had red loctite applied is heat. If I recall correctly, 450*F is the breakdown temp of red. Still a bit of a problem with a shaft going thru a seal though.
