ive got to admit, this forum has gone very stale of late. it seems no one is talking about swapping shims anymore and nobody is tuning engines much either.
Well I really doubt Fro's bike had air forks but you never know. Air suspension is coming back with a vengeance though. Many companies are investing in ways of reducing the progression of the air spring to better duplicate the linear change of a spring. They do this with multiple volumes that allow pressure rise to be a function of a variable and adjustable volume in series.
Advantages:
It’s light...
It’s adjustable...
Disadvantages:
Its very temperature sensitive...
It’s complicated in practice...
