i have the choice to get a 00rm 250 that needs top end gasket- bored out to a 300. or i can get a 96 kx 500 bored out to a 620. which one would you pick?

well depends

depends on where i was riding, i ride on trails mostly, so i would go with the 250, although, depends on the gearing and flyweight of the 500, might go with that if it was set up for trails, where do you ride?

then i would go with teh 250, bored out to 300. 620 would be way to heavy, and way to much ballsy for trail riding lol. you would be everywhere. > killer rabbit

and i hear they have around 45 hp stock. not sure if that is correct though. how tall, and heavy are you?

ya, i have a 96 yz 250 with new cylinder,piston,boyseen, reeds and procircuit pipe and silencer. needs some minor things but ya i can trade my yz for the rm 250 or that kx 500. im looking for something faster and newer, but i dont really like how the kx looks

ahh

never let it come down to the looks! lol, you can allways change that later, i allways decide things like this based on the performance of the object, rather then the looks. frankly, i would marry a pitbull if she could and would do a better job then a more asthetically pleasing wife, you can allways put a "bag" over the ugly bits lol
