Has anyone here had experience with the V-force reeds? I'm wondering if there is a performance difference between the 2 and 3. I'm not sure that I like the "snap" together V-force 3 so I was thinking of get the 2 but if the 3 is better then I'll get it. I want to give my 99 YZ250 a little more snap. Thanks.

I used the v force 2 and 3 on my 97 YZ 250.

The version 2 was a nightmare to jet. A complete pain. Version 3 is able to use the stock jetting.

Let me phrase it this way. I would not run the version 2 if someone gave it to me.

There might be slightly better throttle response with both of them as compared to stock. Neither version is worth the money.

You will get a bigger performance improvement by replacing a worn piston and rings. Better yet, send the cylinder to Eric for porting.

The V force 3 is not bad, but it is not the magic bullet that the company makes it out to be. You can get as much of a performance boost by switching to boyesen reeds in the stock cage.
