n the nineties, I kept contacting Clark about a gas tank for my 1983 Yamaha IT250. After about the 10th time in a year, they said they were gong to start making the mold for one. Four months later, I had a new tank. I'm hoping we can do the same for our E model. If enough people keep asking them, they just might do it if they believe there is a market for it. You can contact them with this info:

Don't know it will work but it sure can't hurt to try.

Took my cracked tank to "Phil's Plastics" in Phoenix. The guy who does their plastic welding is brilliant. I told him I didn't care what the repair looked like but wanted it to be reliable above all. I'm pretty sure the tank will crack again later on. I'll be removing the tank while the bike is in storage shed during the hot months here (140 degrees in shed) in hopes that might help. In the mean time, I'll keep contacting Clarke. Hope you do too.
