I'd think that some people would want to ride for KTM, because from everything I've heard, the 250SX is a ROCKET. The 520 ain't bad either.

KTM wasnt happy with the overall performance of the 250 so they are spending a year in the GPs refining it with Jamie Dobb at the healm.Once this is done they will realease a better bike and support a top rider to prove the bike in the US.

Good to hear they will go after the 250, next year, the more the merrier! Better for us fans. I also thought it might be about the $$, since they have put alot of money into the 125 program. I know they are very good at exploiting what the japanese think of as "niche marketing" and making really good bikes for classes or events that the others ignore then using that as a basis for moving into the bigger markets. I have seen a lot more orange bikes showing up at our local mx tracks, and it is a steady progression, they start with the 65, move to something else for a year or two and then show up with a SX125, (those things are fast!).

I was out at the Adelanto Grand Prix today, and was pleased to see that almost half the bikes there were orange! Riders here on the west coast are finally figuring out what a great value the KTMs are.
