Will a 2001 Exhaust fit a 1999?

My uncle has just bought a Kx125 2001 exhaust from **** will this crossfit kx125 1999 model?

Well hmm this is kind of a tough one, the bikes had the same chassies from 99-02 so the mounting should match up BUT according to a few articles I have seen the 2001 got a new engine so that may complicate things performance wise ya know? Id probably say it would work but performance might differ a bit, maybe for better or worse, try it!
