Will a cr500 motor fit a yz 125

Hey,
I was wondering if a cr 500 motor would fit a yz 125 frame? I have seen it done before, so I know I am not the first. If so, is there any modifications that would be need to the frame?

every think of just buying the 500 and selling the 125....

the 500 isnt much bigger (even more because the yz has a high seat)

but it is expensive so i dont know if you could mount the engine

seems like it might work with the right amount of time money and mods...

Didn't you answer your own question?

Of course there will be a lot of modifications neccessary to make that work, but if you are talented enough, anything can be done.

It's a bulky engine so if you have to do any cutting and I'm sure you will better let a profesional weld it back. Yes he did answer his own question :coocoo:

seriously save your self some money and buy an authentic real deal cr500.
