I just purchased a $24 Twin Air filter for my 92 KDX, and I am wondering if it was worth the $$. The old filter looks like it has been used quite a few years but doesnt have any holes in it. Should I notice a difference with the new one...
I'm not sure about noticing a difference with power and such, but 24 bucks is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Twin Air is a good filter and if you keep it oiled and cleaned good it'll keep your motor protected.
Do you use NoToil? Makes it a snap to clean your filter (do it in the sink, or your washing machine). No petrochems to dispose of or store. If it's easy to do, chances are you'll do it more often...and THAT is a good thing. Takes all of a couple minutes to clean your filter.
Improvement? The twinair will flow more air than the stock filter. Doubt you'd notice it.
