First day back at work after a week of riding, racing, great eating and beer drinking and I'm already hating it. Why can't I just attend DW for a living? By the way, what did ya'll spend on fuel for travel vehicles? Cost me $425 in diesel roundtrip. Cheapest I got it was $2.99 and most expensive was $3.39 a gallon. Oklahoma has the cheapest prices on fuel I saw anywhere. Was $2.19/gallon for reg. unleaded on the way out Sunday.

The V10 rental pig RV sucked down $350 in fuel round trip.

Yeah I'm sooo not getting in to the whole work thing again. The only down side to being a full time DW attender is my Advil bill would be pretty high. I did manage to drop 5 pounds while I was there eating all that Camp Tejas food and poppin a few barley pops. Must have been all that red dirt I ate.

Pat, maybe it's what you meant, but he didn't rent in OKC, it came from Dallas.

Gas - $437.75
Tolls - $18.50

Thankfully split the cost with Pokie and Shiftless!!! Used to cost half that 2 years ago.

If I had a job I'd have a sexier bike.

Unfortunately, the short time I spent at DW, I did with terrible planning. I'm somehow eons behind in a couple of my classes. I don't quite know how I'll catch up. But I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Work sucked today. Had trouble sitting still at my desk, even with a pile of paper mail, about 40 emails, and calls to make. I like the people I work with, and most of my customers. It still sucked anyway.

If we all had motorcycle related jobs, would it be better, or would that take away some of the enjoyment of the sport itself?

Unlike many of you, work has been great today because all I've done is sit here at my desk in front of this computer and read DW posts the whole day!

Gas: $200.00 pulling a small trailer with an Oldsmobile cutlas Ciera 1,400 miles. The lowest gas I found was $2.15 in Salina Kansas. Here in South Dakota it's $2.70!

Just did the figgerin, $518 in fuel in the truck and $128 in camper and bikes. I still have over half a tank in truck, and at $3.39 per gallon I guess I am just under the $500 mark for fuel used in the truck. I never did find that diesel for $2.99, seems like when it was time for fuel, it was always $3.39. I did see a lot of "cheap gas". :ahhh:
