Has anyone experimented with the airbox lid? My bike was delivered without one so I don't know if it needed to come off. I'd love to ride with it attached and not worry about sucking in swamp water. My dealer is trying to get a new lid for me (since I paid for it) but says they are on back order. It seems like everyone removed theirs because someone said we should. My question is, does it really have to be removed? I have a vortip exhaust insert and I plan on changing the timing to YZ specs. Does anyone have this set up and know what difference the airbox lid will make? What will I lose if I reinstall it?
