should i just carry along a 6mm flat wrench for jets and a wrench for the bowl covering the jet? is there a tool that has both or makes it easier for jetting on the go?

It all depends on just how much room you have between the carb and case. On my 250, a 17mm box-end will get the drain bolt out......then I can barely fit a 6mm socket with a little 1/4" drive wrench on the main. But there's no getting to the pilot without removing the throttle slide so I can swivel the carb to the side. Changing jets ranks right up there with cleaning air filters..........

I have a magnetic screwdriver with removable tips. The tips can be stored in the hollow handle. When the tip is removed, the screwdriver becomes a nutdriver for the main jet.

Good luck, Steve.
