Has anyone every broke the scaffod bone in their wrist. My doctor says I need to be in a cast for 6 months. Just want to know if I should get a second opinion because that seems like an awful long time.
the scaphoid bone is notorious for non union healing. The 6 mo cast is a conservative approach . Other than pinning it. I used to sell a silicone replacement for the non union fractures. and I sold quite a few. Go with the cast
