writing a racing resume

My son always wrote one himself but this year he signed up with Sponsorhouse.com and it is well worth it. They walk you thru to a very professional looking resume and provide the avenues for submitting it. You can also print it to send out locally.
Only downside is the $48 fee but picking up one or 2 sponsors should repay that pretty quick.

P1MP, I am also on sponsorhouse and I find that cover letters ALWAYS help, make sure you tell them about yourself and why you wan't to be sponsored by them. After you have a nicely formed cover letter put these in your resume.

Make sure you put in a good headshot, and GOOD close riding pictures. And of course any of your race highlites!!

We use sponsorhouse as well. This year my son recieved at least 4X the $48 in free stuff. Also great discounts. More than the 10% the local guys offered.
I have to agree with CanadianRdr though. The Cover letter is the entire thing. I custom make a cover letter for each and every place we signed up for. I put the stuff mentioned above and also what i like about the company in particular.
