The following riders have been invited to participate in the X Games Supermoto race at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, CA on August 8th, 2004. The event will air Live on ABC’s Wide World of Sports at 1.00 pm Pacific Time.

The X Games annually gather the world’s best action sports athletes from six sports. X Games X will include: Aggressive In-line Skate, Bike Stunt, Moto X, Skateboard, Surfing and Wakeboard. The X Games are the premier and original summer action sporting event.

For the first time, ESPN and ABC will feature 14 hours of original LIVE programming of X Games X from August 5-8 with consistent programming windows at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. In addition, ESPN2 will present daily late-night highlight programs from August 6-9, resulting in 18 hours of original programming for X Games X. Overall, X Games coverage will reach 191 countries and territories in 11 languages worldwide via ESPN International.

ESPN, the worldwide leader in action sports, first developed its X Games franchise in 1995. The X Games, Winter X Games, EXPN 2Day, and the newly introduced X Games Global Championship are just some of the original action sports programming currently shown on ESPN and ESPN2. The brand has also grown to include X Games Skateparks, ESPN’s Ultimate X (large-format film), X Games products and more.

ESPN X Games X will be held August 5-8 with STAPLES Center serving as the main venue. Additional information on venue locations and the competition schedule will be available soon at http://www.expn.com.
