Just upgraded from a '95 XR250 to a '97XR400. I've always boughten my oil filters for my 250 from Napa. They came with the spring and the rubber gasket. I went in to get one for the 400 and they couldn't find it, I tried to look it on on Napa's website but I still couldn't come up with the number of the filter. Does anyone know it the 250 and 400 XR's use the same filter or what the model number is for a Napa filter for my '97 XR400???
Thanks

BTW you should pick up 3 or 4 filters and keep them on hand, then when you happen to be at the parts house pice up 1 or 2 so you always have them when you need them without a special trip. When I got my bike it came with a bag of 12 filters and O-rings, I think I have 3 left so I better take my own advice.

Or better yet buy one of the CRT SS mesh oil filters, just clean and reuse. MX South carries them.
