Hi,

I am changing the seals on a 1994 xr650 shock but have a problem with bleeding the air out of the shock.
Unlike previous shocks I have worked with, on this shock the shaft seems to almost hydraulic lock inside the shock body.
Has anyone had this problem ?
Do I need to perhaps drill a bleeder hole in the piston ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure the rebound is turned all the way out . If the needle is seated all the way in it makes bleeding kinda hard because that bike has a pretty stiff valve stack .
