XT350 has Magneto?

Does the XT350 have a mageneto? I don't ride on the street much and am tired of keeping my street bike's battery charged. I'm planning on getting a street legal bike that will run with a dead battery.

My xt350 has a dead battery and it still runs, the blinkers are slow at idle but they still work. I am not sure if that is the answere yo where looking for

Yes, it will work!

Remove the battery and add a capacitor between the + and - connections. This will remove the excess weight and save your electrical system from damage. I have one at home and can give the information off of it. You can buy one from Radio Shack for a lot less than the "battery eliminator" sold at any of the bike warehouse places, which is basically just a capacitor.

Thanks WoodsRider, I would appreciate the informaton on your capacitor. What kind of bike are you running it on?
