Hello there I have a 1982 Yamaha IT465 that I just recently picked up. The guy I got it from told me it needed a carb cleaning, so when I got it back to the house I took the card out and gave it that good cleaning. What I forgot to do was count the turns on both my idle and air screw now the bike is flooding out. What I would like to know is what the stock settings for these bikes?

I also can't get my floats out, the pin that holds them in place won't come out. What do I do about that?

Are the floats moving freely?
Did you remove and clean the jets?
Post up any markings / numbers, etc. that are on the carb. Photos of the carb as well.

They move up and down freely, but I'm afraid a small piece of dirt is stuck in the valve. My bike is in my buddies garage. Or else I could give you a close up.

It's a mikuni carb if that helps. I will get better better photos once I'm back at my buddies.
