Hi can anyone please help me.

I have a 1991 YZ 250 yamaha.

Is there any differens between this model and a model from 1986 ?

I have found a 1986 bike for sale which i can use for spareparts if the model is like mine.

I need the front fork especially. Will the 1986 model fit.
Are the alike ?

Not the same. The 86 yz250 had conventional forks, while the 91 has USD forks. They may fit, but it would be a downgrade, and you'd need the front wheel, caliper, forks, and triple trees. I'm not sure but I think some other parts will be swappable between the two.

Of course, they'd need some work from the looks of them.

What's wrong with your existing forks? Bent?
