Well, it's here (almost)...
I picked up my top end from Eric Gorr on Friday night:) That's right: my measly little 198cc motor has grown to a healthy 223cc's of raw power! (Right now the power is very raw, i.e. the whole bike is still in pieces.) All the work Eric did looks very good, and dealing with him was great.
Pretty much the rest of the bike was torn down too for a serious "freshening up." As of now, I'm waiting on suspension bearings, wristpin bearing, front wheel bearings, fork springs, etc. They should all be in this week, so I should be able to start putting the bike back together next weekend. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll be able to ride...too much snow and cold back home right now...and I thought that spring was here.:whiner:
So maybe in a few weeks, I'll be able to give you a report on the new setup. I can't wait to find out myself.
