Sparring matches have come and gone,
with BLOOD at times to be seen.
But nothing quite compares my friend,
to the DUEL between orange and green.

A spar of this type is close at hand,
With riders poised to strike,
Young Ted is thinking “I got him now”,
while Woodsy aims his bike!!

INCA and KADIE will participate,
And do their VERY best.
Father Nelson will enjoy the game,
But Woodsy will not rest!

It all started out so long ago,
A chance meeting on the MCCCT.
No one knew at that ironic time,
How competitive these 2 could be!

The picture tells a story here,
of strength and of little doubt,
Come one and all to hear the tale,
Of when Woodsy called Young Ted out!

So it begins right here and now,
On Dirtrider.net.
Young Ted may be favored to win,
But that “Hoot Owl” gets my bet!!

WHITE CLOUD - Sunday at noon Nelson, if you got the stomach for it – hahahaaaa!

Would Judge MWEISSEN return to the arena please?
Just A Hoot

Bikes away, rider boy, don’t you get to free,
‘Ol Woodsy is over by the tree,
Just waiting for me.

We first met in a casual way,
He was with some buds, riding out the day.
There was Randy and the rest,
But Grampa Davie stood out best.

The visit was short but sweet,
That the two ______ happened to meet.
And so we each went our way,
Knowing there would be another day.

A month later in the parking lot,
With peering eyes, it was --- Scott?
And so with glee,
It was off tree to tree.

At the Evart Rendezvous,
It was others and Woodsy too.
Simply a lot of fun,
Romping in the sun.

So now it’s spring,
With birds on the wing.
That’s absoid,
The wings are on the boid.

Woodsy really knows the west side,
And boy, can he ride.
With INCA and Kadie,
It’s the most fun there could be.

Nature says the sun must set,
But the laughs are not over yet.
As 4/4 is near,
And the start of another year.

There may be a contest,
To see who writes best.
But the outcome is moot,
As life is just a hoot

Up popped Woodsy from a single-track grove
He was a Team Green rider you could tell by his clothes
He wore a two-button beanie and a 4-button stitch
Ridin' one wheel like son-ofa-b-itch

Well he chased old INCA down a two-track road
Hootin' and hollerin' on his 2-banger Toad
The trees were flying, big puddles ahead
A target on his back the white helmet was Ted's

Woodsy pinned Kadie, rocky roost in the air
His S-12s were cookin', you'd think it hardly fair
But as Kadie revved hard, and shifted into third
INCA turned to glance, Ted smiled and flipped her the bird

Now Ted may not be Young, but look in his heart and you'll see,
Not a wrinkle to be found, and wiser than you and me.

:uh:

That's all there is,
You'll have to wait,
St. Peter said as he closed the gate.

Then the devil came out,
And opened the door,
Calling out - I know some more.

KADIE is a big galoot,
And garlic is his favorite soup.
He washes it down with might and main,
And burps it up like a choo choo train.

INCA is a mighty man,
He can do what no man can.
He took KADIE by the tail,
And hung him up on a rusty nail.

Kadie and Inca were having fun,
Now Piper must join in.
With smart guy Billie at the helm,
It’s sure to bring a grin.

2 against one sure don't seem fair,
but Woodsy won't call foul.
To some it just will make no sense,
but Woodsy is a wise ol' owl.

He knows KAdie is a BIG BORE scoot,
500cc's in all.
She'll chew those orange's up for lunch,
and wind up having a ball!

What started out as 2 DUELING BIKES,
Is now looking down right chaotic.
Twas bad enough with Ted alone,
But that William makes Woodsy NEUROTIC!

You see, in life there are those times,
When all is going well.
But everytime that Smitdog shows up,
Things begin to smell. (Could have been something a little stronger there :) )

But 3 of us are not a crowd,
Not like when we were young.
For out of this chaotic mess,
TRUE brilliance has begun!

Long ago Young Timer learned,
That “iron sharpens iron”.
I can see that Timer with pen in hand,
And know that he’s not tire’n.

And Woodsy will shine like he ALWAYS does,
His mind’s gears NEVER stop.
And when he’s all done shifting them,
He is sure to be on top!!

Mweissen must NOW do the job,
And EVERYONE is waiting.
I think he's PLAYING GAMES putting off the choice,
not just procrastinating!!!!!

Young Ted has a point there! Hmmm.....it's getting close.

Also, in the MTR Dueling Handbook, it states "and one who participates must first get some dirt on his dirt bike. One must first play to duel".

Let me translate those complex legal terms for you. It means, while Smit-Dog gave it a very good go, he's disqualified, because his pumpkin remains in the garage with clean fender undersides, the little rubber spikes on his tires and that virgin smell only a new bike can have! I feel so bad for that bike, it just wants to get out and romp :whiner:

Ya know, I could hold you in contempt of the Kangaroo Court for a comment like that! But I won't, because, frankly, I feel bad for Kadie having to wear all that lime green. Orange is SUCH a great color.

The amazing prose that flows from this site just gives me goose-bumps (I can't tell you where on my body though). You could all really give Super Hunky a run for the money with this stuff.

So, in fairness, I judge thusly (or thereforely, or whatever):

The outcome of this duel shall be determined in the muck of White Cloud. The winner shall be the dueling duo (Ted/INCA or Nutzy/Kadie) that can most cover their primary colors in the black gooey section on the White Cloud trail.

HAHAHAHAH - Smitty got disqualified - I LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!!
INCA: You are indeed correct in your interpratation of rule 28. However, under cross examination the originator of that rule, one Mister Kenny Tobias Megal (notice the intials of his name) was found in violation of the Bikers Code Of Honor that guarentees "Equal Blights"! Therefore, even if Judge Weissen would not have found Smitty quilty of the well known "non-participation clause" and disqualified him - his participation would not have mattered anyway!! Bottom line, YOUR DOOMED - NO ONE CAN HELP YOU NOW!!!
Now, as for you Judge Weissen:

My point about this pugnacious judge,
Comes clearly into play.
He thinks that Kadie will stand still,
And let him throw some clay!

If one would read in postings past,
Of days Mweissen took roost.
You’d see that Kadie was the bike indeed
That tossed that dirt all loosed.

The word “contempt” came into play,
From our friendly unbiased Judge.
But Woodsy thinks its possible,
That Mweissen holds a grudge!

So Sunday when Kadie comes into view
At White Clouds Parking Lot.
Everyone reading this post will know,
A prettier Kadie there’s not!

All cleaned and polished she will be,
Not full of others grime.
To let that AWESOME bike take roost,
Indeed would be a CRIME!!

Now Woodsy, I take my appointed job as judge, not by me, but INCA and Kadie, seriously. If I was going to wimp out to orange, I would've alread done so! Let me tell ya, after not just eating roost from Kadie, but actual pieces of knobbie, she certainly demands some respect :worship: - not much, granted - but some :moon: .

So, the ruling still stands - the tie-breaker is the bike that has the least amount of original color showing through the mud after your next ride.

KADIE And The Hootchy-kootchy Girl
She first met KADIE at a big parade,
A show of the strength Kaws made.
There were KDX,KLX and all the rest.
But KADIES KX stood out the best.

Now she’s built as big as an Adventurer,
KADIE says he’s not for her.
Let her ride with the other guys,
His Big KX is too small for a gal that size.

She ruined her first ex I understand,
He wound up with his knobbies in the sand.
Since KADIE heard she’s coming his way,
He’s got a cover on his KX night and day.

She’s made up her mind to have her way,
His KX has got to make her day.
She wont let it rust ‘cause she knows the score,
Oh you can tell she’s had a KX before.

Now KADIE thinks she’ll try sabotage,
So he’s invented a little camouflage.
Everyone thinks it’s a real cute trick,
He’s got it painted red and white like a peppermint stick.

Oh I just got word from Woodsy’s place,
The big maneuver just took place.
She finally caught him by the old woodshed,
He was sound asleep in his hideout bed.
There was quite a battle, there’ll be heck to pay,
Cause he wrecked his KX saying – “Father Nelson, you’ll pay”.

Someone has been reading the original edition. The revised edition has only Rule 28. Mark, your ruling on Bill is correct though - what you stated is there in invisible ink that cabbages cannot fathom.

Rise and shine
It is dueling time
Dear friend KADIE too
Does it matter who is who? KADIE The Wheelier
Or
A Son Of A Tree

I roost the sand, and I jump the stump,
I’m not bad and I’m not a chump.
I live in Ravenna where Woodsy is free,
I’m KADIE KX, a Son of a tree.

Guess maybe you think I’m a nutty fool,
Cause I’ve never been to school.
And don’t know one and three,
I’m just a KX Son of a tree.

They say to me why do you stay here,
You’d be better off peddling beer.
I say I don’t care to leave Woodsy,
I’d rather stay here and be moodsy.

Last week I hear talk about pumpkin,
Fellow called INCA with many other kin.
Couldn’t understand why he’s like me,
But I guess he too is a Son of a tree.

I don’t think he belongs in this land,
Cause he don’t roost so much sand.
So maybe INCA and me,
Be two different Son of a tree.

Well, I’m just KADIE and not from the pumpkin patch,
I’m glad to be Woodsy’s favorite match.
Cause some day when I’m free,
They’ll say – Hi KADIE, you Son of a tree.

Look out White Cloud here we come,
Full of vinegar and then some.
For the GREAT INCA,
Is more than Woodsy thinka.

Judge Weissen - I have never met a more fair, honest, straight shootin Justice O' Peace in my entire life! Once again, it was GREAT riding with you - oh, and thanks for bringing my friend Dan Lassa with you! Are you SURE you dont wanna rethink your decision? Look closely at the pic - I think Young Ted is getting the best of me in this "final moment" of our great DUEL! That 76 year young sure packs a wallop - my jaw is still sore.....
I was sorry it had to come to blows - thanks for breaking us up and THANKS for Judging our conflict for us!

To those of you that have followed this duel, I hope you had at least one laugh. I have had many and they continue every time I think about it. Mark played his part with perfection and he has earned my respect and admiration. His outlook on life is hard to beat. Thanks for adding to the duel.
KADIE – Please have a talk out in the woodshed with the one who keeps twisting your right wrist but can’t make it into even a Half Nelson. He should accept the decision as handed down by Judge MWEISSEN and forget about an appeal. The Woodsy’s Delight Code Of Ethics does not condone such actions.
For INCA’S part this is the end. Since the mind should always be kept thinking, some day, somewhere behind a tree the devil lurks.
So Long, Young Ted
