We are looking forward to making it to the 01 spodefest. Since school will be in session we will only be able to make it on Friday (if Mom will let him out of school) and Saturday. My Son just turned nine and rides a KX65. Will there be time for riders of each age/displacement and expertise level?
I am worrying about the little riders on the MX track with the older kids and bigger bikes and I am sure the 50cc Dad's will not want to see their kids out there with 65cc riders like my Son either. Any plans for this?

Thanks,

Okiewan,
I had read the posts on the kiddy track earlier this morning before posting my topic. While I meet all the requirements for a true SPODE, my Son has somehow avoided this and is a pretty good little rider. While I might enjoy the kiddy track he has no interest in it and will want to be on the MX track. I guess I just need to understand if the MX track will have times set aside for different classes and what these classes will be. I do have concerns about him being on the track with us big kids, but I also fear for some less experienced younger kids on the track with him. Since I could not make it last year I have no idea about how busy the MX track was or how busy it will be this year. I just want to be sure there is time for him to ride the MX track and have fun.

Check out the links below, you want me to put him on the kiddy track? http://www.tbdracing.com/action/mvc-188w.mpg

Kx My son thekid is also a diehard motoX rider on an 80. I am sure there will be times for the kids to take over the track but I am going to try keeping him in the woods so I can at least hope to keep up with him and give him experiance riding trails that we are lacking here at home.
Another idea might be to set aside a time for the advanced kids to hit the track with the dads running interferance. Whatever there will be time for them I am sure.

Oldguy,
My son will also give the trails a shot.
The kid is like the eveready bunny when he gets on an MX track, must be a youth thing. Possibly if they set up some classes by age group and displacement as guidelines for track time, then just rotate through the classes would work out. I definatley do not want to complicate things, and have no idea on how busy the track will be. I am just looking for a way to assure he is safe and has a chance to have plenty of fun. Maybe this will work out over the next few months anyway.
Thanks,
