Any ideas on where to set the forks on a 00 YZ 250 in the triple clamp. They are currently moved all of the way to the to. I know moving them changes set up.. I'm a newbie with set up on YZ's so any help would help.. Actually have 2 bikes mine is an 03 w/ 200# rider, sons is an 00 w/ 160 # rider

I believe there is a little scribe mark on the fork leg that shows the stock setting. That doesn't mean that is exactly where they need to be. When you ride the bike if it pushes in turns meaning the front end slides and doesn't have enouigh grip, then slide the tubes up in the clamp a little. If the bike has too much front end grip, then slide them down in the clamps. If the bike is very jittery on fast high speed straights, then slide the tubes down in the clamps.
