I am having problems getting the clutch hub nut off my sons 06 yz 85 is it a right hand thread ? :bang: thanks Rick

Yes, it's a standard right hand thread.

thanks for the quick reply ,had me thinking maybe I was going the wrong way ,must just bee mighty tight

Yep, they can get pretty tight... Try locking up the engine with either a piece of nylon rope down the spark plug hole, or a penny lodged between the crank gear and the clutch gear.

Sounds like a good way with the rope down the plug hole,so it won,t damage the piston ect

Thanks for the help , got that dam thing off ,now got to check for wear on the spacer as a bit of a noise was was coming from the clutch area at our last race meet
