YZ125 Race Kart engine...Same as motorcycle?

I have seen several race kart motors for sale and was wondering if these are any different than a YZ125 motorcycle engine. Everything looks to be the same and these are new in the box with all electronics. Just wondering because they may be a good alternative to a complete rebuild some day.

Most karting motors are modified for extreme top end powerbands. They usualy have different pipes and porting.

kart engines still have 6 gears, and the '03kart had an '01 cdi. the rest is equal
