new to this site as well as dirtbiking. been on 4 wheelers most of my time and just bought a 88 yz250. fresh top end and it runs great plenty of power and decent suspension. before i start riding everyday im looking for some general maintence advice as well as tips. i dont even know when i should change the oil or how to check it so any advice would be great. by the way my names josh i live in va. ride mostly trails and i weigh about 160. probably to much bike for someone with so little expierence but ive had a few streetbikes so have knowledge about being on 2 wheels. any advice about maintence or things to do before riding would be great.
