I have a canadian version 02 YZ250F. The bike runs great if its above 55 degrees. When the temperature gets down to 40-46ish, I can't get it to start for the life of me. You can kick it till your blue. It will only try to start in cold temperatures with the choke off. It will then start for an instant after many kicks and immediately stall. If you have someone immediately pull out the choke lever at that point I think it will keep running. At least it did once before.
I assume this has to do with the jetting. What changes need to be made to the carb so it runs in the cooler weather we have here in NOvember timeframe. I assume the slow jet, needle position, and maybe a screw adjustment? I doubt this is a main jet problem but what do I know? Thanks in advance. George
