Hi, I own a 99' wr400f at the moment and im thinking of getting a yz250f coz its lighter and the suspensions better for big jumps which I like doing. So whats the yz250f like in the woods/bush/trail ?

THanks jason

I HAVE ONE FOR 6 MONTHS THAT I TRACK RIDE. TO TRAIL RIDE YOU WILL NEED A HEAVIER FLYWHEEL AND SOFTER SUSP. THERE IS 0 FLYWHEEL EFFECT. BIKE IS SUPER OTHERWISE. GOOD INVESTMENT.

The YZ250F is great in the bush in tighter stuff but for long open rides it has to rev high to get anywhere. I would suggest a WR250F and have the suspension sorted to suit your style / riding area. Trail V MX suspension is always hard to get a balance that is perfect on both.
