Hey Guys,
I've got a buddy with a 99' YZ400 that just started breaking clutch plates. This bike has been meticulously maintained, and althought I know it has no influence on the clutch, just recently had a new crank and rod installed. What I'm wondering is if anyone has experienced this problem. The bike breaks the same plate every time, either one of the middle ones, or the last plate in the stack (Bottom of the stack). I'm not sure if it is a drive or friction plate as I havent seen any of the broken plates, but the bike is breaking them about every ride now, and it only breaks one of those two plates. Any input or direction ot someone who might know more would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
