Ok a few days ago I went to go see a 1999 yz400f. The guy is really desperate to sell it because he needs the money to get a new bike this summer. I could probably get it for 1800$ Canadien, maybe even less. The only problem is that the bike is not currently running, he says the carb needs to be adjusted. And since it's one of these complicated racer 4 strokes he says that no ordinary bike mechanic can fix it. What do you guys think? How much will it cost to get this fixed by a real meachanic? Or maybe I should just get a xr400 and stick with simplicity. Any comments?
