Is there any normal way to open inside chamber (cartridge) in this forks? ( Kayaba 48mm, single chamber) My forks become like “welded” on small hoops and stones, at harder impact or jumps respond is much better but still not like before. I put everything in a parts, (not cartridge), check valves, oil seals, sliders and everything looks fine. After cleaning and putting everything together, new oil (5), new oil seals situation is the same !!!
I make small test with chamber, I install bottom valve, bolt cap, fill with oil and put bottom part in can with fork oil, during pumping I can fell that you need much more power to pull the piston, when you try to push down it goes very easy (bottom valve – open/closed not a big difference) It is very hard to tell how much power and speed you can produce with hands.
90% of my drive is OFF-road (enduro, cross country, etc..) only 10% is MX drive, any idea, or modification advice is welcome. Tnx.
