YZ85 Clutch Adjustment Question

Clutch Adjustment Question

Folks,

A friend told me it sounded like my son needed a new clutch pack, but he's still got a lot of adjustment left. I think it's the way my son rides, but here's my question... As the clutch on a YZ85 wears, would I be turning out the adjuster at the clutch perch (making the cable longer), or would I be turning it in (making the cable shorter)?

I know it sounds like a silly question, but since I've replaced his clutch basket with a WISECO unit and switched over to a Hinson pressure plate, I've had zero clutch issues. It's been literally months and I've forgotten which way they wear.
