Have any of you had problems with your kickstarter hitting the footpeg? Mine has a huge dent in it and I'm affraid the kickstarter will eventually break. I tried moving the kickstarter further foward on the spindle (removed kickstarter bolt and kickstarter, re-applied on different threads) but it still hits the peg. I try kicking it more gently but it makes it difficult to start. Any ideas?

I got a thick fuel line hose and cut in down to about 1 1/2 inches. Then, I zipped tied it to the meat of the kickstarter.

There are two threads in the Flame Board that cover this in detail.

The short answer is it's normal. All the 400, 426, and 250s do it.
