Your shock bearings and linkage bearings require regular maintenance if you want them to last a long time and perform properly. Ideally these parts should be disassembled, inspected, and re-greased every 6 months or so for regular riders. Over time these bearings will eventually wear out and need to be replaced so that’s what we’re going to show you how to do in this video. When looking for a replacement bearing kit for your motorcycle or atv shock, keep in mind some of them will vary with contents. It’s important to know what you plan on replacing and also what each kit includes so you can get all the parts needed the first time. In this video we demonstrate how to replace both the upper and the lower shock bearing on a motorcycle shock. We also show you a few different shock bearing designs and how to properly remove the old bearing and install the new one without causing any damage.
