Your motorcycle shock linkage bearings require regular maintenance if you want them to last a long time and perform properly. Ideally these parts should be disassembled, inspected, and re-greased every 6 months or so for regular riders. Over time these linkage bearings will eventually wear out and need to be replaced, so that’s what we’re going to show you how to do in this video. When looking for a Linage Rebuild Kit keep in mind each of these kits will vary with what parts they come with. It’s important to know what parts you plan on replacing, and also what each kit comes with so you can get all the parts needed the first time. In this video we’ll demonstrate how to replace all the linkage bearings, sleeves, and seals on your dirt bike.
