Well, it’s been run, and won. Jeffrey Herlings once again put down the hurt on his competition at this years USGP, as he finally finds that MX2 form on a consistent basis. GP wins coming thick and fast now and his heroic victory 10 days ago at Ironman marks him down as the fastest man on the planet at the moment, but, there are many riders fighting for that place.
AMA 450 champion Eli Tomac was brave and strong, coming back from his horrible Saturday at the USGP, to show the world he can be the man when he gets a start, and his speed is breath-taking at times.
Antonio Cairoli, without question the smartest GP rider of all time. His race craft is second to none, and while he might not have that blistering speed of Herlings or Tomac, he is a level above when it comes to getting the job done, and wrapping up titles.
