  • Thanks Weege.
So far the first tier title contenders appear to be afraid to make a mistake going for a win. This may not be the season to do so.
The first guy to grab this 2019 SX title chase by the neck is champion.
In a complete BLINDSIDE, that person is COOPER WEBB.
Unless Cooper gets hurt, or suddenly regresses(only see him getting better each race) he is going to be hard to beat. Two wins already!
The riders being careful may need to get a sense of urgency and win a few themselves.
Kudos to KTM for seeing the value in Cooper. Remember, he could run with Herlings a few years back? I forgot and wrote him off too.

    • Also i saw this thing saying that the past championships, most of them were won by the first person who won 2 races. Cooper did exactly that. Hoping he does good this year.

  • Riders may be humble but if they don’t get up front and start collecting points there not gonna have a chance. Look at tomac last year he won 8 mains or something like that still wasn’t enough because he didn’t stay in the run early on.

    • +Garrett Gustafson Yes, exactly. He didn’t stay in the run early on. Crashing does that. But if he continues to place 3rd and 4th all season and not get up to the top step occasionally, it’s going to be very difficult to take the championship. Especially with Ken, Marv, and Barcia all in the mix as well.

    • Garrett Gustafson it’s not about Tomac cuz he’s in it and it still could be his I was just using that as a reference, it’s for anybody in the field. But for that caliber of a rider that Tomac is and he still didn’t come back and win it after all those wins and podiums what does that say for the rest of the field. I just think it’s foolish for these guys (commentators) to say it’s still early yeah it is but if your 20+ points out right now it’s not happening with the talent in the class no way. And for those that don’t know Cooper webb I’ve been following this kid since he was on a 85 go watch his 250 lights career they were saying then the boy was gonna be a champion he’s got something the rest of the riders don’t period. Just watch is all I can say

  • Cill EVERYONE, it’s still early and soon The #3, #94 and #25 will be pulling away from the rest. They are riding to not throw the series away as they have in the past.

  • I THINK IT TAKES YEARS TO BUILD UP SPEED AND STYLLE FOR 20MINS PLUS 2 LAPS CUZ THERE HAS NOT BEEN NO ONE TO COME IN THE 450 CLASS SENCE RC4 AND JS7 TO COME IN AND TAKE OVER SO IDT TEAMS EXPECT THAT NO MORE BUT U HAVE TO TRY ..I JUST THINK ONE U EXPECT COOPER TO WIN HE BREAK FROM THE PRESSER BUT RIDING WITH FAST RIDER LIKE #25 IS GREAT FOR HIM AND HES NOT A WILD CHILD ………………WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE BEAST FROM THE EAST TAKE YA TIME FINSH WHAT YPU STARTED THATS NOE EXPATIONS WEBB JUST RIDE

  • Honestly, those KTM bikes and DeCoster / Aldon program are amazing…. The other manufacturers need to step it up. Both Eli and now Savatgy have AWFUL reliability from their bikes. I think it’s likely that the Japanese manufacturers have spent too many years enjoying a monopoly without innovating and I suspect one area that KTM is out engineering them is in their electronic mapping and software. The way those KTMs launch at the start is clearly ahead of the other team’s setups. But, for Webb to struggle so badly past couple years and immediately move ahead of KR and ET in all phases of the race is shocking to us all. I’m with most everyone with the thought ET and possibly KR are being cautious through first 2/3rds of season. The wildcard though that can bite you when you play it safe is another DNF, I think that’s ET’s biggest vulnerability at this point. He has the speed but honestly, I just don’t trust Kawi reliability….. I think he should move to HRC next season…..

  • I think this season is going to be a season to remember not only for fans but the racers as well as it has been all mixed up with some underdogs finally riding at there potential

  • Come on!, let’s be serious. Two races and you are talking as CW2 has won the title. Let me tell you that KR94 doesn’t want any other mistake neither injuries (Same as CS14), ET3, doesn’t want to throw away the championship like previous years and MM25 is coming back from his knee injury. Let’s talk after round 11.
