This wide ratio transmission kit has all the OE Yamaha parts to convert your YZ250 transmission to the wide ratio transmission from the YZ250X. This kit comes with new gears, circlips, and collar to make 3rd, 4th and 5th gears taller (higher speed). The new YZ250X has the same 1st and 2nd gear as the regular YZ250, but the 3rd, 4th and 5th gears are taller on the X model giving you an advantage out in the desert or on higher speed courses.
