04&05 crf450 ???

i wanna know what the difference is between the pipes and the plastics from the 04 to the 05 crf450. i have an 05, and want to buy a graphics kit that i can find for the 04 but not the 05. i am also wondering about the pipes and or silencer difference from the 2 years. thanks....

The 2005 450 had a bunch of design changes similar to the CRF250.... new skinnier frame, new subframe, and the new sidepanel design. The exhaust mounts are in different spots on the 04 and 05 due to the frame changes too (we tried to see if 05 exhaust would bolt up to an 04, no way). I didn't pay too much attention to the shroud changes, the 04 graphics *might* be able to be modified to fit the 05 shrouds, but they won't fit like they should.

hey thanks alot. just kinda sucks knowing that i have a brand new bike, you know thinking that its so new that i can buy anything for it, but theres no cool graphics, and all i can find for used exhaust is from 02,03, & 04 450's. kinda sucks
