I just bought a new '05 Yamaha YZ250. I'm a big guy and will have to get stiffer springs for the forks and shock. Do i also have to revalve both the forks and shocks as well? Also if i get the springs cut down 1"- 2" will it effect the handling?

there is no need to revalve it due to your weight. but if you find the suspension too soft, first increase the oil level at the fork. still too soft - then revalve it.

i am not shure, do you mean you will cut 1" off of the spring??
