1996 cr250 rear shock compatability?

I need a new shock for my 96 cr250. Does anyone know what shocks would work for it? Will a 97 shock work? Will a 95 cr125 shock work. Any knowledge on this subject would be great.

the rear linkages from92-96 are the same so if the shock measures the same length it`ll probaly be okay call your honda dealer and ask for the96 rear shock part number then ask them to check the other years as well.

Will a 89 cr 250 shock bolt onto a 93 cr 250 ? I know few mm difference in length please
