1999 Yz 125 Engine Noise?

All of a sudden my yz has satrted to make a weird engine noise and i am a bit worried because i have no idea what it could be from because i am religious about maintenance.When in neutral and i rev the engine and then let off and the rpms fall i start to hear a sound (sorry for being so vague) like gusshh gusshh gusshh gusshh.This sound is also noticable when in gear, riding, and i let off the gas. I really have no idea and am hoping someone can help. If i am not giving enough information just ask me for the info.

I've got one of those bikes too, livto and I've never heard what you describe.
Could the airboot have come a little loose from the intake side of the carb?
Has the perfomance changed in any way?

btw..I think the 99 yz125 is a great little bike with nice low end.

does the sound get faster with the engine RPM?
sounds like you might have a little piston slap. How many hours are on that top end?

The bike is running absolutely awesome. Front end lifts up in every gear up to 4th when the powerband hits. So i havent lost any power at all but have gained a worrying engine noise. I have about 25-30 hours on my top end. It seems to be coming from the bottom end or clutch.
any other ideas?
