Anyone happen to know the piston to cylinder clearance on a '97 JR50? I'm reading 1-1/2 thousandths and was wondering what the book says. Thanks.

i really don´t have the manual but from my experience a aircooled 50 cc low power should have between 0,04 and 0,06 mm (not inches), with service limit normally around 0,1mm.

maybe someone with the manual can precise the numbers?

as long as you are measuring at about piston pin height you should be ok at 1 1/2 thou. That is what re recomended to the machinist when we had them rebored.
