A weird question (Rim color)

I was just looking on ebay at bikes. I came across this 98'YZ 125. He says it has "Iodized blue rims". They seem to look really good in the pictures. What is this method. Is it like dying the aluminum?. Is the poor mans way of changing the rim color? It's the First time i've heard of this.

He meant ANODIZED, did he give a brand of rims or did he have the stockers anodized?

I assume that he got them anodized without any special colors. KawieKX125 got his stock rims anodized and I think they were kind of blueish. Wait, those are for sure Excel rims (in the color blue)
