So long story short I am new to all this dirt bike stuff so today I was trying to pop the clutch in 1st and ride out a wheelie. It kept bogging as soon as I got it up I just assumed it didnt have enough power. No big surprise is a 73 gt80. So later on I take it out and do it again to my surprise it has tons of power and stands the bike right up and will continue going over until I stop it. After doing that 5 times or so it stalled. Turns out the petcock was off. So why was it running so much better with the petcock off. I am assuming it is because it is running rich normally. This would explain why sometimes usually in first it bogs and feels like it isnt revving out properly. So my first question is judging by what ive told you would leaning it out be a good idea and would it be safe within reason? Second question is in that scenario what would I be leaning exactly? Would I need to rejet it? Sorry for the noob question this is new to me. Thanks
